Naval Station Everett is a busy port that provides full logistical support for U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command ships. Port Operations provides ship berthing, fueling and defueling, pier-side on-loading and off-loading, and harbor tug assistance to ships in Everett and throughout the Puget Sound. The base has increased its capabilities to support pier-side Selected Restricted Availability (SRA) maintenance and intermediate repairs for homeported ships, allowing the crew to remain close to base services and increasing quality of life for sailors. The base and its tenant commands also provide excellent support for military training, infrastructure, and personal life programs for sailors and families stationed in Everett.
