Lieutenant Victoria Phillip

Lieutenant Victoria E. Phillip was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  She attended Miami University of Ohio where she earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a commission through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.  She selected the P-8A Poseidon aircraft platform during Naval Flight Training and earned her Wings of Gold in October 2018.

Her assignments include a tour with the VP-9 Golden Eagles, based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington, where she flew as the Mission Commander for reconnaissance and anti-submarine missions in Sixth Fleet AOR tracking adversary submarines and patrol missions of the Black Sea shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and at Commander, Navy Region Northwest, where she served in the Situational Awareness Cell of the Region Operations Center.
