HOMESCHOOLING ACTIVITY: YOGA DAY

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 | 9:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. | WHIDBEY FITNESS CENTER
For our military homeschooling students, our yoga day for youths is the perfect way to work out and have fun! Led by one of our experienced fitness instructors, the activity starts with an orientation, followed by a guided tour of the NAS Whidbey Island Fitness Center. After the tour, they’ll dive straight into a youth-friendly yoga class designed to be both fun and challenging. Join us as we remember and honor the brave service members who were Prisoners of War and those still Missing in Action. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic gear. Let’s come together to say: “You Are Not Forgotten.” Open to all eligible patrons and their guests. Captains Cup event and FREE event. NAS Whidbey Island will join Navy installations worldwide for the annual Bells Across America for Fallen Service Members Ceremony to honor those who died on active duty.  This memorial event is a way for the NAS Whidbey Island community to honor and remember the sacrifice of our fallen service members and the loved ones they left behind. This event is open and free to all members of our military community, whether you have a fallen loved one or would like to pay respects to fallen service members. Light refreshments will follow at 10 a.m. A livestream will be active on our Facebook page, WhidbeyFFR, for those who wish to attend virtually.
