TEEN SUMMER FIELD TRIPS
School's out and summer is here, and for teens in our community, we have a ton to offer to keep you busy and having fun! Check out the field trips that we have available! Join us to go on fun hikes and parks or just to have a chance to explore the local area, all organized by the NAS Whidbey Island Youth Center. PERSONAL PROPERTY OFFICE WALK-INS ACCEPTED!
An important update: the Personal Property office in the Nor’Wester (BLDG. 2556) will be taking walk-ins from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. After 10:30 a.m., service members will need to contact a counselor and set up an appointment. Fuel your mission with a new Grab & Go meal at the Admiral Nimitz Galley! Too busy for a sit-down meal? We've got you covered. Starting January 26, 2026, our Grab & Go meals will offer a wide selection of delicious and convenient options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What's on the menu? Enjoy sandwiches (both hot and cold!), wraps, salads, fruit, and more! Serving hours are Monday through Friday, 0530 – 1800, and Saturday through Sunday, 0800 – 1800. Simply swing by the Galley, swipe your CAC card, and you're on your way. If you receive BAS, you'll be charged the meal price. This convenient option is available exclusively to our Active-Duty service members.
