Island Transit is providing fare-free transportation to NAS Whidbey Island to allow for ease of travel by members of our military community. The routes service both Ault Field and Seaplane Base, and even offer drop-off locations to connect with public transportation in Skagit County. FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM RESOURCE LINE
This is a new resource available for military connected victims of domestic violence/child
abuse in need of immediate safety planning or resources outside of normal business hours via telephone. This resource is serving clients with immediate resource needs. Clients to receive a call within 30 minutes of leaving a voicemail. This is not a mental health crisis line, abuse reporting line or FAP notification line. For emergencies clients call 911, for mental health emergencies call 988.

Fuel your mission with a new Grab & Go meal at the Admiral Nimitz Galley! Too busy for a sit-down meal? We've got you covered. Starting January 26, 2026, our Grab & Go meals will offer a wide selection of delicious and convenient options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What's on the menu? Enjoy sandwiches (both hot and cold!), wraps, salads, fruit, and more! Serving hours are Monday through Friday, 0530 – 1800, and Saturday through Sunday, 0800 – 1800. Simply swing by the Galley, swipe your CAC card, and you're on your way. If you receive BAS, you'll be charged the meal price. This convenient option is available exclusively to our Active-Duty service members.
